Are you anxious? While most of the routine dental procedures are less complicated, we are aware that many of us are anxious about a dental visit. The dental anxiety is many a time related to dental anesthesia, the sight and sounds of dental instruments among many other factors. Such anxiety results in postponing a dental visit, except for emergency purposes.
We can help: Use of adequate topical anesthetic gel, warm anesthetic solution and sufficient time during the administration of anesthesia reduces the discomfort experienced and thereby the anxiety.
Our rear custom delivery system hides the dental instruments from a patient's front view. During treatment, the patients are always informed in advance before a particular procedure, which avoids any surprises and thereby reducing stress. Our patients could also choose from a choice of noise cancelling headphones, music and overhead television during their dental visit.
Use of technology: Our Digital X ray systems allow us to reduce radiation exposure time to one tenth of time taken with conventional xray system. These digital xray systems and intra oral cameras help us explaining treatment plans and procedures, as we believe in first hand patient education.
Quality Care: The dental care, quality, skill, guidance and judgment are the essence of our practice. The simple adage, "A stitch in time saves nine", is one of the policies that Dr.Anisa Shaikh believes in and follows. The instructions given to you before, at or after your dental appointment, when followed and maintained by yourself as 'Home Care', goes hand in hand towards attaining a good dental health. But of course, it saves you the nine stitches!

Before your initial visit:
Upon your initial visit:
- list of any and all medications that you may be currently taking (OTC or
prescribed by your physician).
- recent xrays from your previous / referring dentist.
- dental insurance information (insurance cards and forms).
During your initial visit:
- xrays if needed, shall be taken to aid in complete diagnosis
- your dental concerns shall be given priority and pertinent treatment options
will be discussed.
We try our ardent best to be gentle and caring during all your visits.
Insurance :)
We will be pleased to submit necessary claim forms and pre treatment estimates and any other required information to your dental insurance company for you.
May we kindly request you to inform us of any amendments to your dental benefit plan that could be changed by the company that provides you with dental insurance. Thereby, we would be able to assess the exact coverage estimates and inform you of co-payments first hand, based upon the information provided.

We use EMAILS to schedule appointments and correspond with most of our patients. We try and accommodate your dental visits that suits your schedule. We try to stay on schedule to minimize your waiting period at the time of your dental visit. Due to unforeseen reasons and dental emergency patients, there could be delays. Your patience and cooperation in the matter shall be very much appreciated.
